Some customer service this's Elaine received this email from Dell's Customer Care a few years ago. The customer 'service' response is self-explanatory. Here's what Elaine says:

"A few years ago (long before meebo), I saw a strange system error on my almost-new work computer. After trying a few things, I contacted Dell's customer service and received this response,

"U just have to go ahead and remove the cover and reseat the cables which is running from the process fan to the motherboard and then if possible reseat the process and restart the system everything should work fine..." (view full email).

I'm not a hardware person so this made me laugh - definitely not the friendly response you hope for when your computer is on the fritz!"
